What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile information (name, email address, phone number)
• Your account credentials and all login tokens
• All expenses you added across all groups
• All settlement records associated with your account
• Your membership in all groups
• All pending group invitations you sent or received

Note: Expenses and settlements created by other group members in shared groups are not deleted, as removing them would affect other members' balances. Your display name on those records will be anonymised.

How to Request Deletion

Account deletion is handled by email. To request it, email us at mail@truelytech.com with the subject line "Delete My SettleUp Account" and include the email address registered to your account so we can identify it.

We will process your request within 5 business days and send you a confirmation once your data has been deleted.

Timeline

• Within 5 business days: your account is disabled and your personal data is deleted from our live databases. You receive an email confirmation.
• Within 30 days: any residual copies in routine backups are purged, so your data is permanently and irreversibly erased.
